How to catch a fish out of a small pond?

Somebody as a joke, put a goldfish in our backyard landscape pond, how can I catch it? We need to remove it, the pond is about 2m deep, and has lots of rocks. We need to get it out dead or alive, what can I do?

you could use bait to lure it to you and then catch it or you could try to use a fishing rod to get it out

    Try a net on the end of a long pole. I’ve seen something like this at pet shops, especially those that sell goldfish and tropical fish. They are used to scoop out the fish while the tank is being cleaned, and would probably work in a small pond as well.

    i am sorry but that is the funniest story all day.
    anyways, just a simple fishing net will do. some dogs might like to gobble it up for dinner. wouldn’t you want the fish in there? it makes it look nice. i like fish so thats my input but everyone is different
